Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 1, 2026

Quickvites is operated by Carlos Alfredo Zuniga Costa, based in Honduras ("Quickvites", "we", "our" or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have when you use the Quickvites apps for iOS and Android, our website and related services (the "Service").

We do not sell your personal information. By using Quickvites, you agree to the practices in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Our Terms & Conditions also apply.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you give us

1.3 Purchases

If you subscribe to Quickvites Premium, Apple or Google processes the payment. We do not receive your card or payment details. We receive your subscription status (plan, start, renewal, expiry, trial and cancellation) through our subscription provider, RevenueCat, so we can unlock Premium.

1.4 Information collected automatically

We only ask for these when you use a feature that needs them, and you can turn them off anytime in your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. What Other Users Can See

Quickvites is a social app, so some information is visible to others:

Other users cannot see your email address, password, location history, push tokens or advertising identifiers.

4. Service Providers

We share information only with these providers, and only as needed for them to provide their services to us. Except for Google AdMob (Section 5), they may not use your data for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the Service.

5. Advertising and Tracking

The free version of Quickvites shows banner, native, app-open and optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob, operated by Google LLC. Premium subscribers do not see ads.

What AdMob may collect: your advertising identifier (if allowed), IP address (to estimate approximate location), device type and operating system, and which ads you saw or interacted with.

Personalized ads. AdMob may use this data for personalized ads, which Apple calls "tracking". On iOS, we ask permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt first. If you decline, we ask AdMob to show non-personalized ads only.

How to opt out:

Google explains its use of ad data in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

6. Purchases

Premium subscriptions are bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google handle your payment details under their own privacy policies; we never see them. We store your subscription status on your account to unlock Premium features.

7. AI Features

When you use the Planning Assistant or other AI features, the details you enter (such as the event type, month and preferences) are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate suggestions. We send only what is needed for the suggestion, not your email, password or contacts. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into AI features.

8. Data Security

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

10. Children's Privacy

Quickvites is not intended for children under 13 (16 in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, unless local law sets a lower age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

11. Your Rights

11.1 Everyone

You can view and edit your profile from Profile → Edit Profile, change privacy and notification settings in Settings, export a copy of your data from Settings, and delete your account (Section 12). You can also email [email protected].

11.2 European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You also have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of your data, to object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interests, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Our legal bases are: contract (account, events, invitations, friends, chats, Premium); consent (personalized ads, location, notifications); legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, improving the Service); and legal obligation where the law requires.

11.3 California (CCPA / CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell personal information. Using Google AdMob for personalized ads may count as "sharing" under California law; declining tracking on iOS, opting out of ads personalization on Android or subscribing to Premium opts you out.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected].

12. How to Delete Your Account and Data

  1. Open Quickvites and go to Profile → Edit Profile.
  2. Tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

You can also email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it.

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, events you created, friends, friend requests, invitations, circles you own, profile picture and sign-in tokens. Messages you sent and photos you added to other people's events may stay visible to those users in anonymized form. Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings.

13. International Data Transfers

Quickvites is operated from Honduras, and our providers process data mainly in the United States and the European Union. By using Quickvites, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as the providers' standard contractual clauses.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time and will update the effective date above. For material changes, we will also notify you in the app or by email.

15. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Honduras, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not remove protections you have under the mandatory privacy laws of where you live.
